Đầu tiên, cà rốt cắt sợi dài khoảng 1 ngón tay. Tôm luộc chín, bóc vỏ, mực cắt nhỏ. Bắc nồi nước sôi và luộc miến, miến chín thì vớt ra để ráo. Tiếp đến bạn bắc chảo lên bếp cùng một lượng vừa đủ dầu ăn.

Cho miến vào xào, nêm cùng 1 muỗng canh dầu hào. Lúc này bạn nêm nếm gia vị cho phù hợp với khẩu vị gia đình mình rồi cho hành vào đảo thêm tầm 30 giây nữa là được.
