Maybe not the best thing to declare breaking all contact before giving the option to call, but overall it's great. My grandpa was the same way, no matter what sexual orientation or what country people came from.. He would always shake their hand like with anyone else so to speak, and that's in a time where that was unusual.

It's funny how I always thought of elderly being overly conservative, but if I think back of my grandmother, I have to admit, that she was the most liberal and kindest person there ever was in my life and I was just a fucktard to not recognizing it.
